Previously known as our “Arctic White” taffeta, we’ve chosen to rename this beauty in order to reduce confusion with some of the other silks we offer!

It’s a solid warm white that possesses the same purity and innocence as the renowned flower made popular by the classic song in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music”!

In German, the word 'Edelweiss' is a combination of 'edel,' which means noble, and 'weiss,' which means white, and the flower has come to symbolize devotion because it grows in some of the toughest alpine conditions in the world…
