Dragonwort is named after the fluffy pink flower that is native to Europe, southern Russia, and Western Asia. An exotic herb with an anise-like flavor, it is also the main flavoring in many dishes of classic French cuisine! Its species name, dracunculus, comes from the latin for dragon, which refers to the ship of its root!
