This STUNNING gold-and-black diamond taffeta is named after RICHARD THE LIONHEART, also known as Richard I of England, who was a renowned medieval monarch who reigned from 1189 to 1199. He was symbolized by a fierce and majestic lion, which represented his valor and martial prowess on the battlefield, and his royal colors were red and gold, reflecting his regal authority and the fiery determination he displayed in his pursuit of military glory during the Crusades.

Each diamond measures 1/8” x 1/8” with a 1/4” repeat. Flip the fabric over and you find the design’s color inverse! So it’s actually TWO silks in one!! Woven as a high-quality jacquard - each diamond is inlaid right into the fabric!
