As French language conventions changed, the spelling transitioned to the modern "Joyeux Noël." Each diamond measures 1/8” x 1/8” with a 1/4” repeat. Flip the fabric over and you find the design’s color inverse! So it’s actually TWO silks in one!! Woven as a high-quality jacquard - each diamond is inlaid right into the fabric!
