ratafia

RATAFIA is a sweet, fruit-based liqueur that was popular in the 17th and 18th centuries, typically made by infusing fruits (such as cherries, apricots, or raspberries) with alcohol, usually brandy or wine, and sweetening it with sugar. The drink was associated with pirates, who encountered it in European ports or looted it from merchant ships. Its rich, fruity flavor makes it a festive and flavorful beverage!

This rich crimson red-and-espresso brown figured fabric is the dotted version of our luscious ‘Mahogany’ taffeta, but this one tantalizes the taste buds with that taste of sun-ripened fruit infused with warm brandy and kissed by a delicate sprinkling of spices...

This silk is adorned with tiny textured microdots that measure 0.5mm, which are pleasing to the eye without being distracting.
