This incredible green & gold stripe reminds us of French dragoons (infantry soldiers) during the Napoleonic era, who were known for their green and gold uniforms. Their attire featured a green coat with gold or yellow facings, epaulettes, and braiding, reflecting their cavalry status. Their helmets, influenced by classical styles, often had brass or gold-colored metal fittings and a distinctive black horsehair crest. This striking color scheme helped distinguish them from other cavalry units while maintaining a practical and elegant military appearance.

Stripes measure 1” wide and run the length of the roll. Satin taffeta is a shinier, glossier version of our standard taffeta.
