Love love love this fabric! It's really gorgeous turquoise blue with a right amount of golden tone, which gives incredible depth to my dress. The quality is impeccable too.

Beautiful color

I originally purchased a partially started mid century ballgown from a friend who had purchased this shade from Silk Baron. I made the gown and due to not enough yardage, I needed to buy a bit more to do some more detailing for the gown. In indoor lighting the beige tones are not as noticeable and the turquoise is really toned down, almost matte. It shimmers while in motion, but is very subtle and subdued. In the sunlight is where this color is AMAZING. It almost glows. I wasn't crazy about the color at first, but I have come to love it and was an absolute joy to sew.

A stunning blue beige paring that would make anyone happy! This is a warm toned color that has both the blue and beige in equal measure. Sometimes with changeable silk the color will skew towards one color more than the other. This is a perfect balance. The beige makes it subtle and the aqua adds a splash of "wow"! If you are looking for a calming zen color with a bit more bite, I highly recommend Shallows.
